The La Bella “Peppermint Twist” Limited Edition tape wound bass strings in Blue and Gold are constructed with gold (80/20 brass) underlays, accented with blue silk, wrapped in a clear nylon tape, delivering a buttery tone and feel across the fingerboard.

We used blue ball ends on all strings, and wound the ends with 100% blue Italian pure silk. The silk ends are the nicest color combo we’ve made to date!

And to titillate the olfactory senses, each set has been spritzed with a festive peppermint scent (please do NOT taste the strings).

These are standard long scale sets. The G, D, A and high C strings are 38” from ball-end to silk/taper. The E and B strings are 36 ¾” from ball-end to silk/taper. Only the silk portion of the string should wrap around the tuning post.
